TRIP ITINERARY:



Day 1, Friday, October 18, 2019

·         9:00am          Depart William Penn Park N Ride

·         12:00pm        Visit Harvest Ridge Winery for a tasting -  The name “Harvest Ridge” was the original name of the farm and was retained for the winery. The first vines were planted in 2011 – Chardonnay, Viognier, Malbec, and Merlot. The winery opened to the public (as Delaware’s fourth winery) on November 1, 2013.Harvest Ridge Winery’s property spans the border of two states – Delaware and Maryland. It is on the historic Mason-Dixon Line. In fact, one of the most unique features of the property is the existence of one of the       Mason-Dixon’s original witness stone and crown markers – number 47        – located on the property.

·         2:00pm          Depart for Ocean City MD

·         4:00pm          Arrive Quality Inn Boardwalk - This beachfront hotel is 1.4 miles from Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium and 1.7 miles from Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum. All rooms free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, microwaves, mini-fridges and coffeemakers. Kids 12 and under stay free when sharing the room with an adult family member. There’s an American restaurant on-site, plus indoor and outdoor pools, a whirlpool and a gym. Other amenities include a business center, a game room.

·         5:30pm          Enjoy a delicious dinner at Hemmingway’s -  The elegant yet comfortable dining room creates an ideal atmosphere with a coral reef and island plantation motif. Original oil paintings produced on canvas by local artist Randy Hoffman feature the vigorous and varied lifestyle of Ernest "Papa" Hemingway.

·         7:00pm          Tonight we will visit the Ocean Downs Casino for you to try your luck.

·         10:00pm        Return to the hotel

             



Day 2, Saturday, October 19, 2019

·         7:30 – 9:30am          Enjoy breakfast at your leisure at the Ocean-view Grill.  You will have the morning on your own to enjoy the beach and boardwalk

·         1:00pm          We will meet our guide and visit the Discover-sea Shipwreck Museum for a tour and a presentation.  You can browse through Sea and Shell City.

·         3:30 – 4:45pm  We will visit Costa Ventosa Winery for a wine tasting

·         5:00 – 6:45pm  We will enjoy a wonderful dinner in a charming vintage train car.

·         6:45pm             Depart for the theater

·         7:30pm          Enjoy an amazing upscale magic experience at the Dickens Parlor Theater

Day 3, Sunday, October 20, 2019

·         7:00-9:00am     Breakfast at your leisure at the Ocean-view Grill

·         11:00am        Check out

                         Grab some lunch on own on the boardwalk before departing for home.

·         12:00pm           Depart for home

·         5:00pm          Arrive home
